I met this young Hadzabe Bushman in Tanzania. He wore the hide of a baboon, a sign of strength and hunting skills. I was never sure who was watching who. He had an intensity in his eyes, a concentration, a deep look of trying to understand who we were and why we were there. But I will never forget when we left, I turned and looked at him as we walked away. He nodded his head and with a small smile gave me a wave. As if to say “I will see you again.”
